Rachel’s interest in theatre began with her first acting experience at the young age of 7. Growing up in Circleville, Ohio, Rachel pursued her interests through community theatre, church ministry, and continuously watching any musical she could borrow from the library. After high school, Rachel traveled the United States for three years, ministering to churches through theatre and music performances with Life Action Ministries.
Rachel continued her passion for theatre at Cedarville University, where she met her husband, Colin. After graduation, she took a step back from performance to focus on her family and start her own virtual back-office support firm, Check Off Your List. The support of the Check Off Your List team allowed Rachel to balance family and work while returning to her passion – telling stories through acting. Rachel is frequently asked to speak via podcasts, summits, and other events – if she isn’t already busy enough!
When Rachel is not homeschooling her 4 children, managing Check Off Your List, or critiquing TV shows from the comfort of her living room couch (Thank you Amazon Prime and Netflix!), Rachel is on set filming a commercial or at one of the Columbus theatres sharing her love of the arts.
